Mid-August Updates
The 2022 School year is underway! Our students have been in class for at least 2 weeks now so we can all relax, get back into the swing of things, and keep on keeping on. This update will include news regarding to upcoming events, changes to the website, and much, much more.

Indian Lake Elementary Open house
ILE Open House was held yesterday, 8/16 from 6 PM to 7 PM. Parents and families were provided details of their children's classrooms. As with every Open House, some parents visited the classrooms using the divide-and-conquer model, where one parent went to one class and the other parent went to the others; While some parents had to run from room to room just to see their child’s artwork and teachers. Whichever parent you were, we hope you had a great time getting to meet your child’s teacher and other parents of kids in your class.
Room Coordinators
Each classroom should have one or more parents operating as our Room Coordinators. You may have received emails from them or been contacted by them through the Remind App or via text. They may have also mentioned the Student Directory, and how important it is for new (and existing) parents to fill it out. We ask that all parents complete the form(s) since you can select to have your contact information, student's name(s), and other information excluded from the directory if you prefer. STEAM Donations
In case you haven’t heard… Indian Lake Elementary school participates in the STEAM Education program. STEAM, very much like STEM, is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. A STEAM education helps prepare students for an ever-changing workforce, teaching them the core concepts in a single cohesive learning experience based on real-world application.
