Summer break has ended and students are back in school. The children showed up with new backpacks, new shoes, and new clothes. They were greeted at the door by Principal Mrs. McCay, who was very eager to meet all the kids on their first day of class! Parents were welcomed to walk their child to class, meet the teacher, and see their classrooms ready for learning.

This year we welcomed the Kindergartners with a Phase-In approach over the first 3 days of the school year. Students with a last name beginning with A through G attended their classrooms on Monday. This continued on Tuesday and Wednesday, with students with a last name beginning with H through O on Tuesday and P through Z on Wednesday. Thursday was Election Day at ILE, so no students were on campus.

Friday (8/5) and Monday (8/8) will be similar, but kindergartners will only be split into 2 Phase-In days instead of 3. Friday will welcome Kindergartners with a last name of A through L and Monday will be M through Z. Tuesday, 8/9, will be the first day ALL Students will be on campus at the same time.
